Our Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) provides the foundation for a consistent and well documented approach to design and manufacture. Contron commissioned a bespoke QEMS, and were one of the first UK companies to be accredited with ISO 9001:2000 for the design and development of industrial control systems. This has been successfully upgraded to the current ISO 9001:2008 standard.
We recognise the importance of minimising the environmental impact that products and services may have and attained ISO 14001:2004 accreditation in 2006. Contron is committed to the continual improvement of our QEMS and to the avoidance of pollution through recycling programmes.
As a company we realise that quality is the responsibility of all our engineers and we actively encourage and support individual membership of professional bodies. Contron also maintains companion company membership to the 'Institute of Measurement and Control'.
Contron has been a companion company of the Institute of Measurement and Control since September 2001 and became a Microsoft Registered Partner in 2005.
We are a Specialist Partner for Control Software with Omron and a Motion Partner for Schneider Electric, recently being awarded 'Solution Provider' status with Wago.
In order to maintain our high quality, we work to standards. Not just in running the business, but also in the methods we adopt for design, build and commissioning.
Some links to the ones we use most:
“Quality and Integrity are the two fundamental principles that Contron has been built on. We know that unless the system and services we provide are a quality product, then this will cost us and you time and money, both in the short term with downtime and unwanted additional site support and in the long term for repeat business.
Knowing that you can trust and rely on Contron is good business for us both. You won't find a better team that works as hard for you as us, unless of course you are looking at your own teams.”
